The Complexity of Simplicity
Why is simplicity so complex? We often throw challenges in our way when pursuing simplicity. “We can’t do that because ...” or “we would have to do x, y and Z and then” ... How about this one: “We’ve never done it that way before.”
The honest answer is that simplicity is simple if you know your story. When you or your organization knows, understands, believes, and lives it’s story, you are freed up to pursue simplicity because everyone is focused. Your story becomes the litmus test for your challenges and your dreams. Everything is balanced by it.
